July was a crazy month. This month our Pa passed away, my husband's grandfather, and so we had lots of unexpected travel to and from his hometown in Arkansas. On top of that, we had planned to go on vacation to the beach the following week, but instead had some much-needed family time in Missouri.
Being completely honest, I really didn't pick my camera up as often as I would have liked for personal photos. Because of all that though when I did pick it up, I took a LOT of photos in one sitting. Another way mom guilt gets at me! I have such a strong desire to document our son's childhood but sometimes I'm tired and a little burnt out on mom duties/wife duties/ running a business plus this month's unexpected travels. Flying alone with a baby multiple times would exhaust anyone! So I just didn't pick up my camera as much. It's August now though and I'm eager to get back to capturing our daily details!
Also, I have some major mom goggles and it is super hard for me to narrow down person photos Like the photo of just Cantor's hands. There's nothing especially great about that photo, but to me, I see when he was very first starting to pull up on the couch. Every photo is a memory and detail I don't ever want to forget.
